I've been working on a commission I received through Etsy. While it has a little bit of drawing, the woman was mostly employing my handwriting. She had a list of 101 things her husband loved her for, that she wanted me to re-write. It had been water-damaged beyond reading ability, and I can only guess that she didn't want it to be put down in her own hand-writing and she'd rather have it a strangers. Luckily she remembers all 101 things by heart, something I can't help but be impressed with and generally wowed. Not to mention the list itself and how much you can tell her husband really did lover her. It's really adorable and one of the most inspiring things I've ever worked on for anyone. The sad part of this story, and the reason why her husband can't re-write it, is that he died a few years ago. It makes some of the lines sooo sad, when you keep that in mind.
Over all the whole list just makes me hopeful that I'll find that love someday. And I'm so happy and energetic to be working on it. Not to mention it is the coolest and sweetest thing to do as a Valentines gift (Which this was to her originally), and I have to say I'd encourage any guys out there to do it that are really attached to their girlfriends. Or maybe the first Valentines after you get married.

It doesn't cost anything and it's a gift to last a lifetime, clearly.
